Skateboard brands are everywhere these days. The top brands that come to mind is Supreme (of course), ONLY NY, Stussy and Palace Skateboards but the brand that is going to be featured today is very different from these brands' aesthetics and is not just a "skateboard" brand.

Enter, EVAN KINORI

Evan Kinori creates handmade garments using amazing Japanese Fabrics and creating smart and flexible workwear garments giving a nod to vintage clothing. Now you may think that may be an odd combo as we usually relate skateboarding to tees, caps, Vans and comfy slouchy denim jeans. Evan on the other hand focuses on creating a more mature fit on clothing for the user to be able to work on everyday life and still be able to bike or skate without changing your clothes.
What's good about the brand is that Evan knows how to create garments. He knows what's good and what fits best and what makes a clothing last a lifetime. I love the idea that he creates clothes for himself first and tests it on himself and then releases it for everyone else. I also like that it takes a more mature route for a brand that is connected to skateboarding culture.

His goal is to create really good clothes that can tell a story as time passes which is a really great idea if you think about it. These days fast fashion is the king and not a lot of people think about longevity of their clothes. Here in Evan Kinori, quality comes first.
