I recetly had a US trip with my family and I enjoyed US more than I thought I would. We went to California and I just fell in love with everything that we went to. It's a beautiful place and I just want to explore more of it.

Of course, with travelling comes the natural shopping spree. I made a list of shops to visit to take notes of what they do, how they do it and to be inspired. More posts on that later on.

I also shopped.

A few pics for you to view from my pickups vid.

Always wanted to have a Thrasher tee. I went with a quirky design for the Gonz.

Always wanted an Odd Future shirt. I was debating weather to get the plain white OF tee with a small logo in front and a huge OF design at the back of this. I would have gotten a black version but XL was all they got. Bought this and the Thrasher shirt in Zumiez. I'm not really sure about the shop if they're good or not but they definitely have all the streetwear stuff I was really interested in so I went in a Zumiez outlet store when I was in Vegas.

For this J.Crew boat shirt, I'm a big big fan of Jenna Lyons and what she did for J.Crew. I honestly had a difficult time choosing what I wanted because I felt weird not being able to purchase a clothing from them. I went back and forth until I saw the boat shirt from their catalog. I knew I had to get it. Had no idea it was on sale and it was discounted when I saw my receipt. Its always awesome to get a discount.

The Real Leathers equipments I got were from Joan's. I wasn't really supposed to go there I was just really curious. I wanted to get lost in the Joan Craftstore near Seafood Market (?) and I knew I just had to grab it because they're really expensive here in the Philippines. The camera grip I got in Fry's which I thought were pretty affordable and really handy. Reviewed my videos and saw the difference immediately.

I got the Robert Marplethorpe postcards just because hehe. They were a dollar each so that was cool. The Lettermate and the enamel mug I got from Paper Source. Awesome shop for stationeries et al. Wish we'd have Paper Source here in Manila. Can't wait to use the Lettermate for my leather works by the way.

Saw this cap in San Francisco J.Crew. Didn't get the chance to get it before we left because it was the Holy Week and the WHOLE BLOOMINGDALES (or was it Nordstrom) WAS CLOSED.  Hunted it down in The Grove in LA. Got it. When my cousin got back from his University he surprised me with THE EXACT SAME CAP. Imma cry. Love him to biiitssss. Now that I had 2 of the exact same cap, I exchanged the one I bought and kindly see the Japanese Indigo Bucket Hat below.

First cap I bought (well, my tita bought this for me) and got it at ROSS. For $13 only its not that bad. Its now my most used cap.

Yep. YEP. I have a fisherman's beanie. Got this for $10 in Hot Topic from their Outlet Store in Vegas lol. It's pretty cool and I got to wear it when I was in SF. BARGAIN ITEMS ARE THE BEST.

The Japanese Indigo hat was bought the same time I got the J.Crew boat shirt. I bought an Ebbets Field Cap in J.Crew but then my cousin got me THE EXACT SAME CAP. I kept the one he gave me and got the one I bought exchanged for this bucket hat. Yay for hats!

The Vans that I got were bought in Citadel which is an outlet store by the highway. Apparently, no two outlet stores are the same. Glad there were Vans there and that's where I really took my time. It took me two hours to decide which Vans I wanted to get and ended up getting these two babies. Supposed to get a white Vans but decided to buy the unique ones instead. Definitely no regrets from these two.

So that's about it. I will be posting more adventures from our trip so stay tuned.
